Building for the Long Term at TwinsLegacy

Why we structure TwinsLegacy as a parent studio with TwinForge and TwinZilla — and how that helps us ship software and games that last.

By TwinsLegacy Team
Earth from space representing global vision

TwinsLegacy was founded on a simple idea: technology and entertainment are converging, and the studios that thrive will be the ones that can do both — with craft, patience, and joy.

We’re twin brothers Behnam and Behnoud Taheri, building under the watchful eye of our CEO Aki (a Shiba Inu with strong opinions and excellent taste). After more than twelve years in game development, we didn’t want a single brand trying to be everything to everyone. We wanted room to go deep — in code and in worlds.

Parent company, specialized brands

We organize our work through two studios:

  • TwinForge — software, platforms, and digital products
  • TwinZilla — games and interactive entertainment

Each brand has its own identity, audience, and craft. What they share is harder to fake: values, tooling, and a long-term view of quality.

This isn’t corporate complexity for its own sake. Engineers at TwinForge think in reliability, clarity, and scale. Creators at TwinZilla think in players, pacing, and wonder. When both sides learn from each other, the work gets better.

What we’re building right now

TwinForge — software that ships

On the software side, we’re especially proud of Sportra — a live football platform for fans who want trustworthy scores, rich match pages, and a product that feels alive on matchday. Sportra Intelligence is the derived insights layer we built on top. We’re also building a Telegram experience so the same data can meet people where they already chat during games.

Inside the studio, TwinForge Management is our weekly planner: tasks, time tracking, and reporting in one place — the tool we wished existed when spreadsheets started to creak.

TwinZilla — games in development

On the games side, Bagabond is our turn-based tactical project: hex-grid combat, dungeon runs, and enemies that show you their intentions before they strike. It’s in development, and every milestone is shaped by playtesting, not slide decks.

We also partner with other creators through consultation, game analysis, and full development services — because we’ve sat on both sides of the table: indie passion and production reality.

How we think about “long term”

Long term, for us, means a few practical things:

  1. Ownership — We build things we’re willing to maintain.
  2. Craftsmanship — Polish where players and users actually feel it.
  3. Player & user first — Features serve people, not roadmaps.
  4. Honest scope — We’d rather do fewer things well than many things poorly.

You’ll see that show up in how we write code, how we design encounters, and how we talk to partners.

Building in public

We’re sharing the journey openly — through this blog, our projects page, and the products we ship. If you care about football data done right, thoughtful game systems, or studio tools that respect how teams really work, we’d love to stay connected.

Explore TwinForge and TwinZilla, meet the team, or get in touch if you want to build something together.

The story is still being written. We’re glad you’re here for this chapter.
